i went to this big temple thing, that was near where my new hostel was, but it ended up really anoying me. it has been turned into a huge market selling tacky touristy versions of traditional japanese stuff. you know the kind of touristy shops that just pretty much all sell the same crap. and the temple itself was rammed full of people all taking photos etc. it was so different to all the other temples i have been to.
so, after this i decided to head straight back to the forest, so i can get on with my project straight away tomorow morning. i had origionaly planned to stay another night in tokyo, and infact had already checked into the hotel... but decided i couldnt be bothered with tokyo anymore and the more time i have for working here the better.
so after picking up some coloured tape... to try and help me navigate the forest. i went to Shinjuku and got the bus to Kawiguchiko. its snowing loads here. and i have a massive headache. im gunna go take some photos of the icicles on the trees then go to bed i think... even tho its only like 9 oclock herｅ
