The forest is very eirie.. extreemley dense and very uneven as it is built from volcanic rock. there are caves allover the place and there was quite alot of snow and mist today. we didnt venture too far in.. it is very easy to get disorientated and im slightly worried about the practicalities of the project... but im looking forward to getting started on it properly and shooting with the 5x4.
these ropes are tied to the trees during the anual suicide clearup so the workers dont get lost in the forest as they can follow them back out.
i think being in the forest on my own is a fairly daunting prospect.
after a long day exploring the suicide forest, what i really need, is some horse meat.
